From Head of Media Planning to yoga mat.
I didn’t come to yoga because I was flexible. I came with a busy mind, ADHD, OCD, and the feeling that I was never enough.
For 13 years I worked in international marketing and eventually became Head of Media Planning — and I was successful. On paper. Inside, I was exhausted.
Yoga didn’t magically fix my life, but it changed my relationship with myself.
It gave me a sense of peace I didn’t know was possible. When I experienced that change, I knew I wanted to share it with other people. That’s why I left marketing and became a yoga teacher — training over 800 hours in Jivamukti in Moscow and Barcelona.
Today I teach international expats and mixed-level groups in Barcelona, bringing the same structured, honest thinking from my old career into something that actually helps people feel better.
The things people worry about, answered honestly.
I don’t have enough time.
Can short practices really make a difference?
You don’t need two-hour practices.
Even 20–40 minutes, done consistently, changes how your body feels and how your mind handles a bad week.
I’m too stiff for yoga.
Do I need to be flexible before I start?
Not at all.
Flexibility isn’t a requirement, it’s a result. Yoga is about learning how your body moves, not about touching your toes.
I won’t be good enough.
What if everyone else is better than me?
Everyone starts somewhere.
Yoga is not a competition and there is nothing to keep up with. It is a way of getting to know your own body, and everyone starts from a different place.
Not sure which format fits you? Tell me how your week looks and we will work it out together.
How this actually works
Who ends up in my classes
The English- and Russian-speaking expat community in Barcelona. People who sit at a desk all day. Beginners, and everyone who has been meaning to start for years but cannot find the time, cannot make it regular, or is quietly certain they are not flexible enough. In person here, or online from wherever your week takes you.
What a class feels like
Slow enough to notice what you are doing, structured enough to get somewhere. The breath sets the pace, with music chosen for that particular practice underneath. The sequence is adapted to any level and built around your own goals and what your body can do that day, with hands-on assists along the way. A warming cream at the start, a calming balm at the end, in savasana.
Why Jivamukti
What I love about the method is how complete it is. It rests on classical philosophy — the old texts studied closely, Sanskrit, mantra — and at the same time on intelligent vinyasa, built on anatomy, synchronised with the breath and carried by music. That is what let me take the practice off the mat, and it changed the quality of my life more than anything I had tried before.

What students say afterwards
“I’ve taken yoga classes with different teachers over the years, but Olga teaches differently. She doesn’t just tell you what to do — she explains why you’re doing it. Somehow that made everything click for me. I left feeling like I understood my own body a little better.”
“The thing I appreciated most wasn’t the practice itself — it was how comfortable she made everyone feel. There’s no pressure to be flexible or ‘good at yoga.’ Olga is warm, funny and incredibly attentive. You never feel judged, and somehow even challenging poses become less intimidating.”
“I came for yoga but kept coming back because of the atmosphere. The classes are calm without being boring, thoughtful without being overly serious, and somehow everyone feels welcome from the first minute. It feels less like joining a fitness class and more like finding a place where you can simply be yourself.”
Practical questions
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes and yourself. Mats are available in person; at home, anything non-slip works. For online classes, a space roughly the size of a mat is enough.
What if I have an injury or a condition?
Tell me before we start and we’ll work around it. Private sessions are usually the better route here, because everything can be adapted from the first minute.
How do I book, and what if I need to cancel?
Message me directly on WhatsApp or Telegram. Cancellations more than 24 hours ahead are free; after that the session counts as taken.
